Panama Trip, June 2022
This summer after facing many grueling travel challenges, we were able to travel to Panama City and the community of Dolega where our family is from. After this experience we are so humbled and honored that we could make a difference. We also would like to give out a special thanks to Dolega’s Mayor, Magin Moreneno, and his administrative assistants, Anna Cedeno and Nacho Santiago.
During our time in Panama we were able to help 7 families and the single High School in Dolega.
You can find out exactly where the funds went in the list below:
Man missing an arm, needed help with purchasing meds and food
A woman caring for her invalid elderly brother, we provided a mattress for him as he was sleeping on a cot, diapers for him and food to assist the two of them.
A woman, mother of five girls, with a very large tumor growing on her face, we provided meds for she is in a lot of pain, diapers for her and food for the family
A woman with a daughter with Rhett's syndrome, living in the rural hills, we provided meds, food and a wheelchair
Another woman (sister to the one above) also has a daughter with disabilities, we provided meds and food for her daughter
A teenage boy with a tumor on foot cannot walk, we provided a wheelchair for him
A young boy of two years old, has seizures and we provided the funds to send him to Panama City and see a doctor.
We provided the High School of Dolega, Colegio Beatriz Miranda Decabal, fans for all of the classrooms
